Production Area: A mild climate (due to the Atlantic Ocean). Lots of sunshine, and regular rain, the hillside situation and the clay-limestone soil and gravels offer the best conditions for the growth of the vines and the grapes.
Training System: The vineyard is held up by Guyot double (Bordeaux style) to obtain the best maturity and also to avoid phytosanitary disease. The vine is held up by wires.
Alcohol: 13% by vol.
Colour: Beautiful crimson robe with intense purple reflections.
Aroma: This wine reveals great aromas of fresh fruits (blackcurrant, blackberries)
and spices.
Tasting Notes: The fruitiness, roundness and tannic mouth give it a rare elegance. Ideal with pork roasts and your favorite cheese. A harmonious wine!
Enjoy With: Red meat, poultry, pasta dishes and your favourite cheeses.
Serve at: 60-62º F
